Colors and Photo Examples
"Let us color your world"
Our Criss Cross My Doodle puppies are renowned not only for their excellent health and outstanding temperament traits but also for their adorable Teddy Bear look and beautiful coats.
We are proud to be one of the few breeders that offers a wide variety of colors. Our selection includes the traditional tri-color (black, tan, and white) as well as the rarer and more unique red sable and merle, which can often feature stunning blue eyes!
We are pleased to provide photo examples and descriptions of the color options available in our litters.
PHANTOM describes a solid color dog with sharply defined cream, tan, or red markings called "POINTS" located on the brows, along the cheeks, down the legs, and under the tail.
The Tri-Color coat features the Phantom markings with an added third color of white which is visible in varying degrees on the muzzle, head, neck, chest, toes, legs, and tip of the tail.
PARTI COLOR Describes a dog's coat pattern that is 50% or more white with random spotting of a secondary color. Some of our puppies have the TUXEDO PARTI markings, which have a solid torso with white on the neck, chest, and legs, giving them the appearance of wearing a tuxedo. Some of our Tri, Merle, and Sable colored puppies can have the parti or tuxedo pattern.
A sable dog has a very unique coat pattern in that the hairs in its coat are two colors. The tips of the hair are typically black or brown, while at the root of the hair is a solid color ranging from light cream to a dark red.
Sable dogs often lose a good majority of the dark Sable tipping as they mature.
