WHAT IS AN AUSTRALIAN BERNEDOODLE? The Australian Bernedoodle is a hybrid cross of the Bernese Mountain Dog, Poodle, and Australian Labradoodle. This particular breed combination does not include any Australian Shepherd and should not be confused with the Australian Mountain, which is Aussiedoodle x Bernedoodle cross.

This breed inherits the best qualities from both the Bernedoodle and Australian Labradoodle, resulting in an intelligent, easily trainable dog with a gentle, playful, and affectionate demeanor. They excel when given tasks and learn quickly. Their loyalty makes them protective of their families and somewhat reserved with strangers until they become acquainted. Typically, they are quiet, only barking to alert you to newcomers or during play. We specialize in breeding larger mini to medium-sized Australian Bernedoodles, which typically weigh between 40 and 60 pounds, though some may grow larger. All our Australian Bernedoodles have soft, shaggy, wavy coats that are low-shedding, making them suitable for individuals with mild to moderate allergies.
