About Us
Welcome to Criss Cross My Doodle! We are a premier breeder of Mini and Medium-sized "Teddy Bear" Bernedoodles and Australian Bernedoodles. Our mission is to provide our clients with happy, healthy, and well-tempered family companion dogs that fit their home environment and lifestyle.
We are Robbi and Eugene Huffmire from the charming little town of Greenbrier, Arkansas. Our home is situated on 5 partially wooded acres at the foothills of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. This laid-back community, combined with our peaceful and quiet surroundings, offers our family and dogs the perfect environment to enjoy life to the fullest.
We are proud to be one of the first "Doodle" breeders in our state, with over 20 years of experience. Our small-scale, family-run breeding program allows us to provide our clients with the peace of mind, knowing they are working with a highly experienced breeder recommended by both families and veterinarians.
We intentionally maintain a small-scale breeding program to ensure that we can provide personal care for each litter from birth until they are ready to go to their new homes. This approach allows us to invest our time, love, care, and attention into every puppy, which is vital for their early development. As experienced breeders, we recognize that regular human interaction and early socialization are essential for a puppy's overall health and well-being.
Another benefit of having a small-scale breeding program is that it allows us to form a more personal relationship with each of our clients and be a first-hand witness to the endless joy and happiness our puppies bring to their lives. Over the years, we have been so fortunate to have met some of the most amazing people from diverse backgrounds and professions. It has been a truly rewarding journey helping families find the puppy of their dreams and developing long-lasting friendships along the way.

Our Breeding Program
Every breeding program should start with a clear vision and specific goals. As a responsible breeder, we make our decisions after carefully considering the health and well-being of our parent dogs and understanding the long-term commitment involved. Each dog must meet the necessary criteria to pass on the best traits, health qualities, and genetics that significantly enhance the quality of our puppies. Our parent dogs are vet health screened, evaluated for their temperament traits, and must pass DNA health testing before ever being considered for our breeding program.
Just as we are committed to the health and well-being of our parent dogs, We are fully committed to the health and well-being of our puppies. We recognize that the first few weeks of a puppy's life are the most formative and delicate.
-
Each puppy is handled, examined, monitored, and weighed on a daily basis to promptly identify and address any serious or life-threatening issues that may arise.
-
We ensure the dietary health of our puppies by providing them with a well-balanced, vet-recommended puppy kibble that includes daily vitamin supplements and probiotics to help with digestion and gut health.
-
We give each puppy routine preventative medications to help protect them against internal parasites.
-
To promote their socialization and desensitization, we handle each puppy and introduce them to unfamiliar sights, sounds, and experiences that might trigger anxiety or cause the puppy to be fearful.
-
Our puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian and receive their first puppy vaccination before being released to new homes.
-
Every puppy born here will come with a comprehensive health guarantee and our promise to support you for the lifetime of your dog, should you ever need us.
